To mark the 80th anniversary of the end of the war, soprano Stephanie Krug has launched a new music theatre project with the same intention. Under the title<em> \u2018Das Lied von der Erde\u2019 (The Song of the Earth) Degenerate Music in the Nazi Era<\/em>, compositions and texts that were considered \u2018degenerate\u2019 during the Nazi era are performed. Compositions by Fanny Mendelssohn, Gustav Mahler, Max Bruch and others, as well as texts by Thomas Mann, Lion Feuchtwanger, Heinar Kipphardt and many others, will be performed and interpreted by actor Stefan Wilkening, dancer Alberto Pagani and the ensemble cos\u00ec facciamo, directed by Martina Veh.<\/p>\n<p>The project will premiere on <strong>Wednesday, 19 November at 7:30 p.m. at the Kurhaus Bad T\u00f6lz<\/strong>.
