The Orquesta Sinfónica del Principado de Asturias will give two concerts in Avilés and Oviedo (Spain) on 23 and 24 April 2026, under the title ‘Larga noche’ (Long Night). The programme will be conducted by Antje Weithaas, who will also take on the role of violin soloist and invite the audience on a journey through three fundamental works of the symphonic repertoire. Also on the programme is Hartmann’s Concerto funebre, flanked by Joseph Haydn’s Symphony No. 95 in C minor, Hob. I:95, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Symphony No. 40 in G minor, K. 550.
