The second edition of the musicological symposium hartmannforum on 27 November 2024 focused on Karl Amadeus Hartmann’s Concerto funebre for solo violin and string orchestra (1939). The two winners of the international competition, Charlotte Steup and Johanna Bulitta, have both written up their presentations so that the scripts are available to download free of charge.

The first edition of the hartmannforum musicological symposium on 29 November 2023 focused on Karl Amadeus Hartmann’s last work, the Gesangsszene for baritone and orchestra to words from “Sodom and Gomorrah” by Jean Giraudoux.
