On 20 July 2024, the Kollegienkirche offered an extraordinary concert programme with works by Sofia Gubaidulina, Arvo Pärt and Karl Amadeus Hartmann as part of the Salzburg Festival. Patricia Kopatchinskaja, dressed in bright red, performed Hartmann’s ‘Concerto funebre’ together with the Camerata Salzburg with impressive vibrancy and energy.
